Ukraine will not be abandoned after its war with Russia ends. It will rebuild as foreign allies provide external funding. And it will once again be a good place to invest, a market-friendly jurisdiction with a proven track record of servicing its sovereign debt. When the present crisis passes, according to Genna Lozovsky, managing partner at Sandglass Capital, Ukraine will prove a solid credit and an attractive target for capital allocation. Lozovsky talks to Harry Melandri, an advisor with MI2 Partners, about the impact of the Russia-Ukraine war on globalization, commodity prices, Europe’s dependency on Russian gas, and China’s role in the aftermath of the war.
