The idea of digital fashion is nothing new for today’s youth. Through mediums like Fortnite, Roblox, and a host of other video games and social media apps, our species has reached a turning point in which virtual accessories are more coveted than the latest designer clothes. Digital expression has become vital for communal interaction, and Daniella Loftus, founder of This Outfit Does Not Exist, is capitalizing on the opportunity. She acknowledges that this subsect of NFTs has lagged behind others, like digital art, but believes 2022 will see explosive growth for the NFT fashion sector. Loftus noticed this societal shift early on and is currently amassing a digital fashion gallery.
